Are we designing lifts for women?

Some of you are probably reading this and questioning ‘is it ok to ask that?’ Some of you may be thinking ‘this is political correctness gone mad’, and others may just answer straight off ‘of course we are - lifts are designed for everyone’.
To respond to those statements in turn, yes it is ok to ask that and, as this article will demonstrate, it is a question we probably should all be asking more in our professional capacity. No this is not political correctness gone mad, please read on, and if you are thinking of course we are - we do that as a matter of course, lifts are designed for everyone, maybe check in again on that thought at the end of this article!
