A sell-out event saw 130 people from across vertical transportation come together at the Kettering Park Hotel for two days of great presentations, stimulating debate and a lot of conversation.

Dave Cooper welcomed everyone, and colleagues from the Society of Vertical Transportation (SoVT), Adam Scott and Rory Smith, gave a brief presentation on what membership of the SoVT can offer. Ceri Saunders, Senior Networks and Engagement Manager – Societies at CIBSE, was available to talk to anyone interested - she has written about SoVT membership on Page 35.

Ruth Carter, Chief Executive of CIBSE, gave the keynote address, stressing that events such as LES are incredibly important because they bring together people with different experiences, different perspectives and different areas of expertise, but with one shared purpose: advancing engineering excellence.
