It is a pleasure to contribute to this edition of Lift Industry News, particularly following the successful 17th Lift and Escalator Symposium (LES) last month.

LES has become an important fixture in the international Vertical Transportation calendar, providing a unique platform for researchers, academics, engineers, manufacturers and industry professionals to exchange knowledge, challenge conventional thinking and explore the technologies shaping our future.

This year's event welcomed over 130 delegates from across the international lift and escalator community, demonstrating once again the value of bringing together individuals with different perspectives but a shared commitment to excellence.
