Few people would ever contemplate the Marathon Des Sables. Patrick Stannah, one of Stannah’s 5th generation family members, not only contemplated it, he completed it!

Covering more than 270km across the Sahara while carrying everything he needed for six days, the race is widely regarded as one of the toughest endurance challenges on earth. 

Patrick took it on with grit, resilience and characteristic humility, while also using the challenge to raise funds for Kids on Track, a charity close to his heart that supports young people in Andover.
