The lift industry is mourning the loss of Brian Appleby, who sadly passed away on 26 July 2026 following a short illness.

Brian first joined Thames Valley Controls in September 2013 and, after some time away from the business, returned in March this year. Although his time back with the company was far too brief, his colleagues said they felt incredibly fortunate to have shared it with him.

A much-loved member of the Sales Team, Brian will be remembered for his knowledge and experience, as well as his warmth, humour and the genuine friendships he built with colleagues and customers over the years.

His loss will be deeply felt across Thames Valley Controls and throughout the wider lift industry.
