Pickerings East Anglia Lift Engineer Vaughan is celebrating a whopping 45 years’ service with the company .  He joined in 1980, deciding to follow in his dad’s footsteps as he also worked at Pickerings at the time. Vaughan opted to become an apprentice engineer rather than pursue a career in football, having spent time at Arsenal and QPR ⚽

Vaughan said: “Pickerings has been very good to me. The changing team over the years has always been very supportive. We’re always well-trained, whether it’s health and safety or keeping up to date with new technology, which I’ve seen a lot of over the years!”
