As the lift industry continues to adapt to evolving technologies, standards and workforce pressures, ongoing knowledge sharing between manufacturers and service providers remains critical.
AVIRE has reinforced its long-term commitment to customers through a series of practical training sessions designed to strengthen engineering knowledge and support real-world application of lift technologies. These sessions reflect AVIRE’s broader focus on partnership, collaboration and contributing to skills development across the industry.
A recent workshop delivered at Pickerings Lifts’ Manchester office focused on the practical transition to digital emergency communication solutions. Engineers worked hands-on with AVIRE’s digital replacement autodialler and associated systems, exploring programming, commissioning and day-to-day use via app-based tools. One attendee commented: “The hands-on approach made a real difference – it’s far easier to understand the systems when you can work through real scenarios.”
A further session with Classic Lifts centred on best practice installation and troubleshooting across a range of AVIRE safety and accessibility products. Engineers welcomed the opportunity to revisit core principles, with one participant noting: “Even with prior experience of the products, the session highlighted useful tips that will help us on site.”
By combining technical expertise with open discussion and hands-on learning, AVIRE continues to support customers beyond product supply alone. Further training sessions are planned throughout the year as part of an ongoing commitment to strengthening shared industry knowledge.
