Ellie Jackson, who was one of our featured apprentices in the January edition of LIN, has just had 24 hours in Paris, and unlike her almost namesake from Netflix, it wasn’t all about the Eiffel Tower or the fashion -  it was a lift.

In Ellie’s words: Tucked inside a beautiful old building near the Moulin Rouge was the smallest lift I’ve ever seen. And it reminded me of something we all know…

Size doesn’t always matter. In the lift world, even the smallest installation carries serious responsibility. Whether it’s in Paris or back home, the fundamentals don’t change, and you need the right protection behind it.

You can take the broker out of the office… but you can’t stop her spotting risks abroad.
