An important draft standard has been added to the BSI Standards Development Portal for public comment.

Draft BS 5655-11 Lifts and service lifts - Part 11: Modifications to existing lifts - Code of practice

The new BS 5655-11 will be a key standard - anyone involved in lift modernisation wishing to preview the proposals and make comment should follow the link. All comments submitted will be considered by the revision panel; the draft text can only be revised in response to comments received so please submit your comments by 10 April.
