A new benchmark for the lift industry begins in May 2026.
Lift Professional has announced the launch of the Triplex Challenge, a new annual team-based endurance event created to celebrate the people who keep the lift industry moving.
Taking place on 21 May 2026 in the Lake District, the Triplex Challenge will bring together lift professionals from across the UK to take on three consecutive challenges designed to test endurance, teamwork, and communication.
Teams of four will complete:
a 7-mile hike across Helvellyn,
a 3-mile team canoe across Ullswater Lake, and
a 4-mile team carry of a weighted load.
Lift Professional Launches the Triplex Challenge
Rather than focusing on competition or speed, the Triplex Challenge is built around shared effort, preparation, and working together. Each stage reflects the qualities that lift professionals rely on every day, both on-site and within their teams.
In addition, participants will be encouraged to raise money for a charity of their choice, allowing individuals and teams to support causes that matter to them personally.
