In our Summer edition we celebrate being three years old! Thank you to all our readers, contributors, advertisers and supporters, the LIN team really appreciate all the support.

What a great LIFTEX it was ! We loved putting faces to so many familiar names and our front cover has lots of selfies!  We look back at the show including a review of the seminars, both Avire and SIMSIN LIFTS give their views from the show.

We turn our face towards the 16th Lift & Escalator Symposium  and the magazine lists all the guest speakers and their topics.  CIBSE Guide D will be launching in September as well and we are delighted that the new CIBSE president , Vince Arnold, will be attending. We interviewed him as he started his Presidential year.

Add to that lifts on aircraft carrier, women in engineering, lift compliance and the out of service risk, domestic lift power supplies, input switching…. It really is a packed edition once again!
