June highlights!

June was a busy month for the LEIA team, here are just some of the highlights:

• LEIA held its first council meeting in Scotland at the beginning of the month, choosing Edinburgh as the venue on 5th June. Representatives from 13 member organisations gathered in Scotland's capital to discuss key industry initiatives.

• LIFTEX 2025 took place from 11 - 12 June at London's ExCeL, attracting over 4,400 attendees from 40 different countries.

• Nick Mellor and Micky Grover-White presented at the Allianz National Engineer Surveyor Roadshow held at the Coventry Building Society Arena speaking about BS 7255 2023 safe working on lifts - code of practice.

• Karen Slade, Head of End-Point Assessment at LEIA Assessment, hosted a panel discussion this week at the Federation of Awarding Bodies EPA Conference focusing on 'The implications of change for awarding organisations and others.'
