Apex Lifts recently celebrated two very special milestones for Penny Pethick: her 70th birthday and an incredible 25 years with the company.

For more than two decades, Penny has helped keep the Apex offices clean, comfortable and welcoming for everyone who works there or comes to visit. Her work may often happen behind the scenes, but it makes a real difference to the whole team.

To mark the occasion, colleagues came together with gifts, kind words and birthday celebrations to show their appreciation for everything Penny has done over the years.

Penny said: “I originally took the cleaning job at Apex to provide cover after my husband and I moved to Dartford in the mid-1990s. Twenty-five years later, I’m still here.

“I’ve seen Apex grow from what felt like a small family business into a much bigger family. It’s been lovely watching apprentices join straight from school and progress to become managers and supervisors.

“The people here have always looked after me and supported me, especially when my husband was unwell. That support has meant a great deal to me over the years. I’d like to thank everyone at Apex for their kindness and support.”

Apex thanked Penny for her dedication and everything she has contributed over the last 25 years.
