For well over two decades, Jackson has maintained a strong physical presence in Scotland, modernising and servicing lifts for both local and national organisations. With an increasing portfolio of customers across the whole of Scotland, in 2021, the company decided to invest further by building a brand-new administration, service, and warehouse facility in Glasgow . Based in Paisley, located close to the M8 and Glasgow Airport, this project marks the first building Jackson has constructed from the ground up.

Construction commenced in 2023, and by the end of 2025, the £2.25 million project was complete, providing over 10,000 square metres of high-quality office and warehouse space.

In line with Jackson’s overall environmental policy, they were fully committed to this build, providing an energy-efficient “Net Zero” facility.  To ensure the building operates as carbon neutral, several sustainable technologies have been integrated:

  • Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Panels: Generating clean, renewable power.

  • Battery Storage: Capturing excess energy for consistent use.

  • Air Source Heat Pumps: Providing efficient, low-carbon heating.

  • EV Charging Stations: Supporting the requirements of our growing electric vehicle fleet.

The facility is now fully operational, and Jackson’s Scottish Management and Administration Team have successfully relocated from their long-standing offices at the Pentagon Centre in Washington Street, Glasgow.

Jackson remains committed to local employment and the continuity of services we deliver. In Scotland, to help achieve this, they now employ over forty people. The vast majority are locally based lift engineers who live within easy reach of their daily maintenance routes, ensuring the Jackson team remains responsive to their customers' needs.
