As Metron’s official UK partner, Shorts will manage import logistics and duties, simplifying procurement for lift companies. Customers will also benefit from UK-based technical support, ensuring faster response times, with additional assistance available from Metron’s engineering team in Greece when required.

To further support UK installers and maintainers, Shorts will stock a wide range of Metron spare parts in its Bradford warehouse. This will significantly reduce lift downtime by removing the need to wait for parts to be shipped from Europe.

A natural progression

 Shorts has worked with Metron for many years, particularly in sourcing lift doors for modernisation projects. The new partnership expands that cooperation to include complete passenger lift packages, combining Metron’s manufacturing excellence with Shorts’ deep understanding of UK market needs.
