LES UK: Two Days of Learning, Networking and Discussion
The 17th Lift & Escalator Symposium brought more than 130 professionals together at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa on 16–17 September. With eight exhibitor stands and a packed programme, there was plenty to discuss, both in the conference room and over coffee!
Congratulations to Terry L K Fung of Foster + Partners, who received the Dr Gina Barney Emerging Excellence Award in Vertical Transportation, recognising a first-time Symposium presenter. His paper explored vertical transportation design for modern airports, considering capacity and passenger needs.
Thank you to all the speakers, exhibitors and delegates who made the event such a success. A full report will appear in the October edition of Lift Industry News. In the meantime, save the date: the next UK Symposium will return to Kettering Park Hotel on 15–16 September 2027. We look forward to seeing you there!
