A&A has been welcoming apprentices from across the lift industry to its London site for a series of hands-on product training days.

The company recently hosted eight apprentices from Mitsubishi Electric Europe, introducing them to A&A’s products and services and giving them a behind-the-scenes tour of its warehouse, trade counter, picking and packing operations and cable cutting section.

This was followed by a further training day for apprentices from Griffin Elevators and Kentec Lifts. The group learned more about products including contactors and relays, shaft lighting, trailing flexes, auto-diallers and GSM units, and load weighers, as well as seeing how A&A’s day-to-day operations support customers.

Each apprentice also received a tool bag containing practical equipment to support them as they continue developing their skills and experience in the industry.
